This past weekend, met up with three dear friends of mine down in Minneapolis, we met seven or eight summers ago on an eight week summer adventure down in Australia. We were cabin mates, we traveled with 20 or so other people, sadly of which I haven't kept in contact with most of them as well as I had hoped, but that is the way stuff happens, however, somehow, the four of us have managed to keep in contact to a certain degree. We attempt to get together at least once a year, and are thankful for the joys of technology that allows us to text, email, facebook, and other such things.
Life has changed for us all over the years, we no longer are in college, we have moved, two of us are married, and two of us are engaged to be married this summer, one is pregnant, we have had jobs, quit jobs, transitioned to new jobs, we have loved and we have lost, and life has thrown us curve balls. In the midst of it all we have been able to support one another and stay connected. These are the types of friends who even if we haven't talked in several months we some how have the ability to pick up right where we left off, we never miss a beat. I love these ladies.
