Exhausted

It has been one of those months in which all I can fathom at the moment is sleeping. This is Dakota and I last night after a long day. My mom caught this picture for me, we both managed to fall asleep on the couch all snuggled up, we were watching something on tv with mom, but you can tell Dakota and my opinion on it. Life has been going full speed lately!

Major house project: my mom came up and we have been painting my kitchen cupboards, I absolutely can't wait to post pictures when it is all finished. It looks 1000 times better than it did before. I had some gross old cupboards which functionally worked great but in terms of looks it was bad. I will post pictures when we are done and attempt to explain the process.

Major travels: I just got back this past week from a nearly week long trip to New Orleans to the youth Extravaganza! It was an outstanding trip, fabulous speakers, wonderful friends, amazing city. It was great!

This is a picture of Dakota and me after our first run together yesterday. It was a glorious afternoon and evening with just the two of us. Dakota ran really well with me and I loved having her along for the run, we only went about a half hour as I wasn't certain how she'd do. But she was a champ for sure!!!! Our only issues were that it is still really icy outside and we need to figure out how to communicate, when she needs to stop to pee. I am super excited for more runs with Dakota!

I am thankful for days like yesterday where all the details fall into place and life is cruising at full pace. I got some cleaning done, lots of laundry done and folded, got to work on some craft projects, dropped of some craft projects to be sold, watched a little football, and got to continue the work on my kitchen. It was a fabulous day.

a month in pictures

I successfully took an entire month of pictures. Several pictures of my sweet puppy and lots of pictures of the world around me. I am excited to have made it a full month, I wasn't sure I'd even make it a month. Here's to month two!!!! I am loving the challenge!
