Fast Passes & Reservations

We have a handful of fastpasses and one dining reservation each day. Because we aren't on the meal plan we have opted to not eat at any buffets (knowing when we come back in November, we will eat at several). We also have a few scheduled that traditionally we wouldn't reserve for knowing that we are going in January (when often ride lines are really short) but because we can reserve some we did. We may switch some during the day if we feel our schedule isn't working the way we want. Thank God for the mydisneyexperience app that allows us to switch them and has it linked to our magic bands.

We also selected rides (for the most part) that Lucy can come on - we know that there are a few that we will have to use the rider swap. As for the character meet and greets, those mostly came about as we weren't certain what else to pick. We also know that there are rides that during the off season traditionally aren't very long waits (20 minutes or less) that we plan on riding (Haunted Mansion, Small World, Spaceship Earth, Carousel of Progress, The People Mover, The Jungle Cruise, etc....) so we know that we are missing some classics on the list but are okay with that.

We also hope to get on Test Track at Epcot but due to the fastpass system we can't hold fast passes for both Test Track and Soarin, so we picked Soarin.

We also plan on watching lots of parades, Wishes, Illuminations, and Fantasmic.

January 19, 2014:

• I find this reservation totally unnecessary, however, the computer spit it out and so we are leaving it be

January 20, 2014:

• Liberty Tree Tavern (Lunch Reservation)
• Peter Pan's Flight
• #classic
• Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
• JAZZED about this ride as I haven't yet ridden it
• Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
• One of my favorites

January 21, 2014:

• Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano (Lunch Reservation)
• Voyage of The Little Mermaid
• I find this one mostly unnecessary however, this is another computer generated fastpass and for now we have just left it
• Toy Story Midway Mania!
• LOVE this ride and have my fingers crossed to get to ride more than once
• Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show
• I find this one unnecessary as well but it is another computer generated choice

January 22, 2014:

• Coral Reef Restaurant (Dinner Reservation)
• Kilimanjaro Safaries
• Love this ride and I think Lucy will love it as well, fingers crossed we get on this one twice as well
• Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adveneturers Outpost
• Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
• We will have to rider swap here

January 23, 2014:

• The Plaza Restaurant (Lunch Reservation)
• Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
• Excited about this one and holding two fast passes for it
• Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
• Also jazzed to hold two fast passes for this one
• one year when we were in WDW in January we got to STAY on the ride four times in a row because there was ZERO line
• Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater
