One Month Until the Wine and Dine Half Marathon

Be prepared that this coming month and probably for many a day following my trip there will be LOTS of Disney and runDisney talk on my blog. Today we are exactly one month from the Wine and Dine half marathon - which will be the second half of my Coast to Coast medal!

I am beyond jazzed for sure.
Our hotel reservations are made.
Our dinner reservations are made.

I am nervous about the late night run.
I am in bed normally by 10.
I am nervous about the different time of day.

I will over pack because I will question the weather.
I will carry on my beloved shoes and my hopeful running clothes.
I will pack copious amounts of  memory cards for the photos I will take.

I will continue to log the miles in the days to come.
I am running the Fargo Mini-Marathon the 19th of October.
I am running the Crosslake Monsterdash the 26th of October.

I AM RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED!

Do you have any races coming up that you are over the top excited about?
Do you get to run outside in the winter months or are you suck on a treadmill too?

  1. GOOD LUCK!!! You're gonna love it. I have ran a 5K, a 10K, a half marathon and a full marathon. I also ran in a mud run which was tons of fun. I have to say that the full marathon (Rock n' Roll San Diego Marathon) was pretty much the coolest thing I've ever done (aside from giving birth). I've never been so proud of myself and it's a feeling that nothing else can or ever will give me again. I'm the type of person who easily gives up on things I start so the fact that I trained for months and actually ran in this thing was just a complete shock and I totally impressed myself. I didn't stop once during the run and I finished in 4 hours and 26 minutes (4 minutes quicker than my goal time). I can tell you from my experience, it truly is mind over matter. I was completely in the zone and never once doubted myself. My mental strength got me through the pain and exhaustion. I hope to get back into running again soon...and tackle another marathon some day. Oh and to answer your last question, living in southern CA allows me to run outdoors for the majority of the year but having an 18 month old who hates sitting in her stroller keeps me inside on my treadmill. -www.momistabeginnings.com
