Bitter Bitter Sweet

It is true, internship is coming to an end. It really is bitter-bitter-sweet. I have fallen in love with these mountains but more so the people who live in the foothills of them. Tonight and tomorrow (twice) I will give my final sermon, I will be roasted following the 2nd service, I will spend the rest of the afternoon finishing up packing (shouldn't take too long), hanging out with some amazing folks, and Monday morning my car will turn east and head to the prairie. Bitter-Bitter-Sweet.

In the mountains w/ my cousins

My cousins happen to come up to the mountains to visit and I got to spend a couple days with them hanging out. We did get to go to a small rodeo one night. Carter was in heaven. It was a blast and a half getting to hang out with them. I LOVE my family!

5th of July Hike

I managed to get in a good hike up in Golden, Colorado with Suz. We happened to run into a few people at the top and managed to get a photo. The view was fabulous!

A Mark of the times....

Tis that time of year when the rubbermaid totes start coming out and slowly but surely (w/in the next month as of today) I have to pack up my entire apartment. Which I know I cannot complain about because I do not have nearly as much stuff as those folks who move with their families and have furniture and kids and kids toys and all that jazz to move. All my stuff still fits in my car with the exception of my bike that I attach to the back. But it is ohhhh sooooo bitter-sweet to be moving stuff again and packing again and beginning the saying 'good-bye' process.
